A 5-piece band playing waltzes, fox trots, polkas, jives, waltz quadrilles and country/modern singing.  No canteen service available but you can bring your own water. Royal Canadian Legion River John are having their Breakfast on Saturday, Jan 17th at the Legion in River John. Event. The time is 7:30am until sold out. Menu - 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, jam, juice, tea or coffee. $10.00 a person or small $7.00.  Take out available.

Come and celebrate with the Truro Curling Club - Curling Day in Canada on Saturday, January 31st with an outdoor curling event, weather permitting at the Civic Square, 740 Prince Street from 10am to 12 noon.  Come on out and experience how curling started 150 years ago!  Free hot chocolate provided by Re/Max Fairlane Realty.
